Leadership Team
Paul Doman, President and CEO
As President and CEO, as well as a member of the board of directors, Paul sets the strategic direction of the company, manages sales, operations, compliance, and oversees information technology and the company’s financial systems. Paul brings extensive operational, sales and board-level experience in the national settlement service industry, focusing on all aspects of the real estate lending industry. Prior to joining Accurate Group in 2009 and transforming the company into its current fast-growing leadership position, Paul served as President of First American’s Equity Loan Services Division where he focused on leading a team of five hundred employees and developed creative solutions for the home equity lending niche. He began his real estate services career with First American in 1995 and gained extensive national experience working in all areas of the business including title searching, title, escrow and appraisal production, title underwriting, and as a corporate attorney.
Angela Little, Chief Financial Officer
As CFO, Angela is responsible for all aspects of Finance and Accounting as well as directing the company’s long term financial and strategic planning. Angela has over 20 years of financial leadership experience in the real estate space. Most recently Angela was CFO for Voxtur Analytics Corp, a publicly traded company on the Toronto Stock Exchange. In this role Angela managed all aspects of Accounting, Finance, Treasury, Tax, Strategy and M&A. During her time with Voxtur, Angela led the acquisition of six (6) significant acquisitions totaling over $300M as well as multiple Private Placements and Capital Raises. Prior to this role, Angela was the CFO of ALAW Enterprises which included a national default law firm, title entities and joint ventures and real estate technology companies. Angela previously served as VP of Finance for Pulte Homes, a Fortune 150 national home builder, and served in leadership roles for several public and private REITs. Angela has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting and is a licensed CPA in the State of Florida (active).
Steve Baczkowski, Chief Operations Officer
As Director of Title and Appraisal Operations for Accurate Group, Steve is responsible for overseeing Title Operations in Accurate Group’s Charlotte, Houston, and Cleveland office locations along with the Cleveland-based Appraisal Operations center. Steve joined Accurate Group following fourteen years of diverse operational experience with First American Title Insurance Company’s Mortgage Services Division. As a Senior Operations Director, Steve managed a $40 million budget and led dynamic teams of over 200 employees across multiple locations throughout the country. While at First American, Steve’s management responsibilities included leadership roles in Home Equity, Insured and Uninsured Title, Signature Services, Valuation and Appraisal operations. Steve began his career in the mortgage industry with Third Federal’s appraisal management unit. Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Labor Relations from Cleveland State University.
Rami Zaboura, Chief Technology Officer
As CTO, Rami is responsible for all aspects of technology initiatives throughout the organization. In his role, Rami is accountable for the company’s technology strategy, infrastructure, software development and delivery of Accurate Group’s technology solutions. Rami has over 20 years of information technology experience including 10+ years within the real-estate industry. Prior to his role as CTO, Rami led the Software Development Team at Accurate Group where he led the efforts to modernize the technology stack that drove the company’s growth. Prior to that role he served as Lead Software Development Architect for Sterling Backcheck, Intuit, and MRI Software solutions. Rami’s early background was in infrastructure, network management and infrastructure security before transitioning to software development. He is known for his ability to quickly identify customer requirements and translate them into realizable solutions that are scalable and marketable.
Frank Guarnera, Director of National Sales
Frank has over 20 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry. Prior to joining Accurate Group, Frank served as Vice President of Strategic Accounts for First American Corporation responsible for consultative sales and the management of the overall business relationship for mid-sized regional banks and lenders throughout the country. In 2007, Frank coordinated and co-managed the Louisiana Road Home Project, a project designed to appraise the 125,000 plus homes destroyed in Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Prior to that Frank was the Regional Appraisal Manager for Ameriquest Mortgage where he was responsible for developing, piloting and implementing a state-of-the-art appraisal vendor management system designed to ensure appraiser independence.
Thomas Lammert, SVP and General Counsel
Tom is responsible for the legal affairs of Accurate Group. With 30 years of legal experience, twenty of which as counsel to financial services firms, Tom brings a depth of knowledge to solutions for Accurate Group and its customers. Tom most recently served for thirteen years as General Counsel to National Real Estate Information Services where he oversaw legal and regulatory matters for NREIS, its affiliates and joint ventures . Tom spent five years in private practices with Reed Smith Shaw & McClay followed by eight years as Senior Counsel – Litigation and Intellectual Property at PNC Bank. Tom has held leadership positions with The Title/Appraisal Vendor Management Association (TAVMA) and the Real Estate Settlement Providers Council, Inc. (RESPRO). Tom is a licensed title insurance agent in 30 states.
Correne Jackman, SVP, Marketing
As senior vice president of marketing at Accurate Group, Correne Jackman is responsible for development and execution of the company and its affiliates marketing strategies with a focus on promoting digital mortgage technology, along with management of the company’s outsourced marketing vendors, creation of digital and content marketing and conference coordination. Correne brings over 20+ years of industry experience, spanning default mortgage services, national title & settlement solutions, property preservation, valuation and mortgage technology. Prior to joining Accurate Group in 2011, Correne held various positions at First American Equity Loan Services, First American Lenders Advantage and First American Mortgage Solutions. She began her career in 1996 with Leader Mortgage (now part of U.S. Bank) where she held positions in operations servicing – collections, default servicing and investor reporting.
Michele Golden, Chief Appraiser
With approximately 30 years of extensive experience, Michele is considered to be a subject matter expert in the field of appraisal and valuation. Her dynamic skill set of valuation expertise, risk mindset, process improvements, and customer focus has allowed her to think outside of the box and bring successful change management to every position she has held. Michele most recently held the position of Residential Real Estate Consultant on the valuation leadership team at Wells Fargo. As a manager in the Loan Quality Center at Fannie Mae, she refined her compliance skills and ran a team focused on reviewing valuations for GSE standards and model performance testing of Collateral Underwriter. Additional past leadership positions held were as Senior Manager at Capital One and Vice President of Trade and Acquisition at Goldman Sachs. Michele has a passion for mentoring and supporting others who need help navigating their way in the appraisal industry and is an avid supporter of The Appraisal Institute’s Appraiser Diversity Initiative, the premier nationwide program sponsored by Accurate Group and designed to attract new entrants to the real estate appraisal field while fostering diversity in the profession.
